All you have to do is enter a prompt. Here is an example of how I used it to create a square thumbnail for one of our YouTube videos. With Nano Banana, you enter a multimodal prompt. A multimodal prompt is simply a prompt using more than one source or medium. This is actually quite simple. In this case, I used a picture and text. The text is my prompt. The image I used was a picture of my book. In other words, two different types of media. I simply uploaded a picture of my book cover from my hard drive. I then entered a simple prompt: “Create a vibrant image for a YouTube thumbnail with a call to action to watch my video.”
